Terravium — the word means ‘story’ — is an independent world magazine. We publish live world news updated daily, long-form features with a sense of place, famous food recipes cooked step by step, and personal essays on travel, food, culture, technology and cities — from every corner of the earth.
Our desks are staffed by a small team of writers and editors, each story carrying a byline and an author box so you always know who is talking to you. We also publish guest essays — see the next question.
We read every pitch. Send an email to hello@terravium.site with the word PITCH in the subject line, a paragraph about yourself, and two or three lines on the story you want to tell. We reply to everything, usually within a week.
News and stories land throughout the week. Long-form features and essays typically publish on Tuesdays and Fridays, and our newsletter — The Friday Dispatch — goes out once a week. The homepage is always the freshest view.
Yes — every story, always. No paywall, no sign-up wall, no ads — the magazine is supported directly by its publisher.
No — Terravium is completely ad-free. No banners, no pop-ups, no auto-play videos. Nothing comes between you and the story.
Every article has a red Save button on its main photograph, plus a Pinterest button in the share row. One tap opens Pinterest with the image and title already filled in — no copying links required.
Sharing is encouraged: use the share buttons on any story, or copy the link freely. Republishing a full story elsewhere requires written permission — email us at hello@terravium.site and we’ll almost certainly say yes with a credit and a link back.
Fast and in public. If we get something wrong, we correct the story, note the change at the bottom of the page, and answer for it. Spotted an error? Use the contact form and pick ‘Correction’ as the subject.

Everything refreshes the moment anyone visits — and every ten minutes while the page stays open. Nobody publishes those items by hand; come back tomorrow and they will be different.
